Technology is advancing in cruising and a great example of that is Carnival Cruise Lines HUB App. The HUB App is used as your guide while on board and now with new upgrades is useful pre-cruise as well.

What does the app do while on board?
Once you board the ship, you turn on the ships wifi and open the app. After signing in with your folio number and date of birth, you have access to a list of features.

• View the Fun Times Daily Schedule and mark favorites to get reminders close to the time of the event.
• View dinner menus from the dining room.
• Make reservations in specialty restaurants.
• View and book shore excursions
• There is a chat feature you can use with friends and family. Each device is $5 for the cruise.
• And currently on the Horizon, you can order a pizza to where ever you are on the ship.

Of course there is so much more the app does on board but they have upgraded the app with new features for pre-cruise. Once you sign in to the app with your carnival.com login, it loads your next booking into the app.
