Recently someone said to me, "I hate cruising because there is nothing to do." Now, granted, the last cruise she took was 15 years ago so... On ships today there is so much to do. From planned activities, shore excursions, sports and of course eating.
On Royal Caribbean you can take in a Broadway show, go ice skating or tackle the rock climbing wall hundreds of feet above the ocean.
One Carnival challenge your family on the miniure golf course, hit the waterworks and cool off or relax in the spa. The new Vista Class has SkyRider and an IMAX theater.
Disney of course is always going to go all out. Character appearances, the AquaDuck Water Coaster, or even for the adults, relax in the adult only pool.
These are just a few examples of how much there is to do on a cruise, or little to do. Of course in every port you have shore excursions for adventure or relaxation and each ship has a wealth of entertainment throughout the ship. So next time someone says cruising is boring, remember this blog.

I have a passion for travel and believe travel is about experiences. Experiences create memories and are the stories we tell to friends and family - even with a little fudging on the facts.
