Today Carnival Cruise Line announced the plans moving forward in September and October with the return of seven ships. They also provided an update on protocols for September and October.
For the month of September, the following ships will begin sailing.
For the the month of October.
These 7 ships will join the Vista, Horizon and Breeze already sailing and the Mardi Gras that sails on July 31, 2021. By the end of October, half of the Carnival Fleet will have returned to passenger operations.
Carnival will continue to sail with 95% of passengers vaccinated with 5% being allowed to request an exception based on availability and other reasons. For those who are not vaccinated, and are able to sail, you will be required to purchase vacation protection as well as pay the $150 for testing at the port. Please see Carnival.com for additional protocols.
But, if you prefer, Carnival is allowing passengers to move their cruise with no penalty. Mike Miller
