With the return to cruising, there will be some repositioning of ships at least temporarily. Carnival announced they are replacing the Carnival Elation in Port Canaveral with the Carnival Magic through October 7, 2021.
She will sail 4 & 5 Night Bahamas itineraries from Port Canaveral The cool part about this, the 5 night will include a stop in Bimini in the Bahamas. The stop in Bimini is new for Carnival so it will be interesting if this becomes a regular port or just temporary.
4 Night Itinerary
Departs on Thursdays and returns on Monday Ports of Call Nassau Bahamas Half Moon Cay And two Days at Sea 5 Night Itineraries Magic will offer two different 5 night itineraries one departing on Monday and returning on Saturday and one departing on Monday and returning on Thursday Ports of Call for Saturday departures Nassau Bahamas Half Moon Cay Bimini And a Day at Sea Ports of Call for Monday Departures Amber Cove Bimini And two Days at Sea
Magic will sail these 4 & 5 Night itineraries from August 7, 2021 through October 7, 2021 after which she will go back to her 6 & 8 night Eastern Caribbean itineraries. The Carnival Elation will take over starting October 11, 2021.
The Magic just recently received the new hull paint job to match the brand new Mardi Gras and from what I understand got a facelift in the Casino, new carpet and tile. Magic is part of the Dream Class of ships joining Dream and Breeze. Features include Guys Pig and Anchor, the Red Frog Pub, the Lanai, a walkway around the entire outside of the ship and much more.
