Celebrity features 16 ships ranging from the new Edge Class ships to the expedition ships like Flora in the Galapagos. The new Edge Class includes Edge, Apex, Beyond and soon the Ascent and features the Magic Carpet, a multipurpose venue that is raised and lowered along the side of the ship. Its used for a bar, restaurant and on days in port with a tender, a tender deck. The Edge was the first to introduce Infinite Verandas allowing your entire living space to become the verandah
With the exception of a couple of their ships, they feature a lawn club which is real grass where you can watch movies under the stars. Lounges with panoramic views and an adult only solarium featuring a pool with padded lounges. Plus, so much more. The Retreat Looking to step up your cruise experience, then The Retreat is your spot. Available to those sailing in one of the luxurious suites and features an outdoor sun deck, exclusive dining and many inclusions. On the Edge Class ships, you will have a sun deck for Retreat guests featuring an inviting pool, a spacious lounge area with lush furniture and attendants will assist with beverages and snacks. Other select ships feature the sun deck just hot tubs rather than a pool. In addition, you get exclusive dining in Luminae at the Retreat or full meals delivered to your suite for private dining. Amenities include the butler, concierge service available even before you board, priority check in and boarding and reserved seating in the theater on select nights. And of course, all is included, gratuities, premium wifi, the premium drink package and onboard credit to spend how you like. Many more amenities are available to Retreat guest. The Destinations Some of the premier destinations Celebrity visits are Alaska, Europe and The Galapagos but they also visit South America, Asia and Australia. Alaska Celebrity will offer three ships sailing in Alaska in 2023, the Solstice from Seattle, Millennium and Eclipse sailing from Vancouver, BC. For the 2024 Season they will add Celebrity Edge along with Summit. In Alaska you will see ports like Skagway, Ketchikan and Juneau and if you add a land package you can experience the wildlife of Denali National Park and the cities of Fairbanks and Anchorage. Europe Celebrity will sail four ships in Europe visiting the Eastern and Western Mediterranean including ports in France, Spain, Italy, Greece Croatia and Turkey. Scandinavia with ports in Norway, Denmark, Finland and more. You have some great ship options like Edge, Infinity, Constellation and Apex.
Galapagos
If a true bucket list cruise is what you seek, the Galapagos with Celebrity is a great option. Celebrity sails two ships in the Galapagos Islands, the Xploration and the newest and more luxurious, Flora. The smaller of the two is the Xploration holding only 16 passengers is a way to really explore the islands in an intimate way. The Flora is the more luxurious ship holding 100 passengers, all suites and features a Discovery Lounge for education about the destination and even a deck in the back where they launch the zodiacs. You can also purchase an option of glamping overnight on deck.
