Wonder of the Seas
This week Royal Caribbean welcomed the brand new Wonder of the Seas, the newest in the Oasis Class of ships for Royal. Wonder is the fifth Oasis class ship and the first in 3 years. She will boast the title of largest cruise ship in the world measuring 1,188 Feet long, weighing in at 236,857 gross tons and carrying 6,988 passengers. Wonder will have new features like an eighth neighborhood for suites only, new dining venues like the Mason Jar as well as new activities for the kids. She will sail beginning on March 4, 2022 from Fort Lauderdale sailing 7 night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries. Then off to Europe sailing the Mediterranean and when she returns to the US in November, she will sail from Port Canaveral.
Fan of Marvel?
Disney Cruise Line announced they will be celebrating the Marvel franchise with Marvel Day at Sea on Disney Dream. The Day will feature character interactions as well as themed activities and entertainment. This will be on select voyages in 2023 listed below.
Celebrity Infinity Sailing the Caribbean Over the Summer
Celebrity has redeployed the Celebrity Infinity to the Caribbean cancelling European sailings for the summer of 2022. She was scheduled to sail in the Mediterranean and Canary Islands April through November. When infinity returns to service in June 2022, she will sail alternating seven night Eastern and Western Caribbean itineraries from Fort Lauderdale. Ports of call will include Nassau, Key West and Puerta Plata, Dominican Republic on the Eastern Caribbean. On the Western Caribbean, ports will include Belize, Cozumel and Bimini Bahamas.
