Royal Caribbean, NCL and Carnival all make this weeks cruise news.
Cruise with confidence Extended
Both Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Lines have extended their Cruise with Confidence Program. The extension is on bookings made through March 31, 2022 on sailings through September 30, 2022. The program allows guest to cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing and receive a 100% Future Cruise Credit providing flexibility in your planning. The Future Cruise Credit does need to be used by December 31, 2022.
NCL Cancels Sailings
Due to the increased spread of the Omicron variant, Norwegian Cruise Line cancelled several sailings through the end of January 2022. Ships include, the Pearl, Dawn, Getaway, Escape and Joy. Guest will receive a full refund plus a 20% discount on a future cruise. The discount can be used on sailings through May 31, 2023 but must be booked by January 18, 2023.
Carnival Horizon Headed Home
Back in December, Carnival Horizon was pulled from service for a prpulsion issue and went to dry dock in Italy. Well, she is no headed back with not only the repairs complete but with the new livery on the hull. This is a bright blue with a red strip and looks great. The first sailing back will be January 22, 2022 from Miami to the Southern Caribbean. The Sunshine and Liberty were used to cover the sailings that would have been cancelled. Now the Sunshine returns to Charleston where she will begin service on January 15 and Liberty to Port Canaveral where she will begin service on January 22,
