Carnival, Holland America and Princess Cruise Line announced an extension of their pause in operations. This will now be a full year plus since cruising has been placed on hold.
With the protocols and restrictions the CDC has placed on the cruise lines, they are facing the challenge of meeting those requirements and are working hard to do so. This will be a full year without cruising. Let's just hope we get back to cruising soon. Check out below for the updates.
Carnival Cruise Line
Carnival originally had most sailings cancelled through February 28, 2021 but has extended with a few additional cancellations.
Holland America Line
Princess Cruise Line
Originally, Princess had cancelled cruises through March 31, 2021 so this is quite a jump.
At the time of writing this, there was no word on the other cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and MSC extending beyond February 28, 2021. NCL had already extended their pause until March 31, 2021. We will just sit back and wait to see the next step. I said last time there would be no more cancellations but I was wrong so not this time.
