Delta Airlines has installed Facial Recognition into Terminal F at Atlanta Hartsfield International Airport. So what does that mean, well it means convenience.
The technology will be available from curb to gate on non stop international flights including checking your bags to TSA making it faster and less hassle. Normally you can show your passport up to 4 times before you even board the plane, with this, you only show it once. How it works The passengers will enter their passport information and scan their passport upon online check in up to a day prior to flight. When they arrive at the airport, they will walk up to a kiosk in the lobby or at the counter and their face will be scanned. the same thing will happen at TSA and at the gate. I have a passion for travel and believe travel is about experiences. Experiences create memories and are the stories we tell to friends and family - even with a little fudging on the facts.
