Ocean Medallion Over the past few years Princess has worked to up the cruise experience with technology. They have done it with the Medallion. This wearable device will go on your wrist, on a necklas or lanyard or simply in your pocket but has tons of power. You start by being ocean ready completing your check in on the phone app and they will send you your Medallion in the mail. Once at the port this will allow you to sail right through to the ship making embarkation easy. Once on board your Medallion will open your door for handsfree access to your stateroom, with MedallionPay you have contactless payment at bars and shops and my favorite, you can order anything from the bar or ever food from the app and they will find you. Award Winning Food Dining on Princess Cruise Line is an experience and you will find plenty of options. Included offerings like the Main Dining Room , the Wold Fresh Market and the International Cafe have fantastic food prepared by chefs from around the world. If you are looking to step it up, Princess has partnered with award winning chefs like Emmanual Renaut who is the chef for the french restaurant Bistro Sur La Mer on Enchanted, Sky Majestic and the brand new Discovery Princess. Other speciality restaurants like Planks BBQ, Harmony, Sabatini's Italian, Crown Grill come with an upcharge but will be worth the cost. Exclusive Shore Excursions Princess has partnered with Discovery Network allowing them to offer unique shore excursions you will not find independently. Discovery Exclusive are small groups that will immerse you into the destination, Discovery Family is geared towards all ages offering hands on experiences and Animal Planet Excursions are small group tours allowing you to get close to some of the most magnificent animals in our world including stingrays in the Caribbean, Whales in Alaska and more. Whether in Alaska, the Caribbean or Europe, you will find an exciting adventure ashore. Destinations Around the World Princess offers a variety of destinations and itineraries all over the world. Discover the history of Europe, the majesty of Alaska by sea and land, the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean or go down under to Australia. My personal experience with Princess was on Regal Princess and I loved it. The food in the main dining room and Alfredos was fantastic and the adult only Retreat pool was very relaxing. One of my favorite features was the International Cafe. Located in the Piazza, you can get food and coffee 24 hours a day and even at 11pm its really good.
