As most know the Alaska season along with all cruising was cancelled in 2020 and was reduced greatly in 2021. Well, 2022 the full Alaska season is back. Holland Americas Koningsdam marked the return to Canada arriving in Victoria BC and then to Vancouver where she will sail Alaska Itineraries. She will be joined by ships from Royal Caribbean, Carnival, NCL, Princess, Cunard and others. I would venture to say cruising is back. ![]()

She is expected to set sail in May 2024 but no itineraries nor homeport has been announced as of yet. A new class of ship, Icon of the Seas is now under construction and wil debut in Fall of 2023. I have a passion for travel and believe travel is about experiences. Experiences create memories and are the stories we tell to friends and family - even with a little fudging on the facts.
