PackPoint This App creates a checklist of travel essentials based on a trip profile you enter. It takes into account, the reason for the trip, length and destination. Mobile Passport US and Canadian Passport holders can use this App to submit their passport control and customs declaration at many US Airports and Cruise Ports. This will make your trip through customs quicker and more efficient. Note though, this does not replace your passports so make sure you still have the hard passport with you. GasBuddy The App uses the GPS location to find the cheapest gas. This can save you time and money. Google Translate When traveling overseas the language barrier can be tough especially if you are trying to order food or get directions. Just simply pick an input language and output language and then you can either type or dictate your word or sentence. And out comes the translation. XE Currency This App provides up t minute currency exchange rates. Can be great for international travel Cruising Cruise Lines have embraced the technology revolution and have created Apps for use while onboard. Carnival has the Carnival Hub App an Disney has the Disney Navigator App. These can be used to view onboard activities, deck maps, dinner menus and even make reservations. In addition, get a countdown before you go and chat with friends and family while onboard. I think it’s safe to say most hotels, cruise lines, airlines and car rental companies have some sort of App for your use.
