Due to Canada’s decision the 2021 Alaska Season for cruising is in limbo for now, but that does not mean the Alaska Season is a bust. Both Holland America Line and Princess Cruises who are experts in Alaska have created a variety of land packages providing you with the opportunity to see the magnificent interior or Alaska.
In a normal season, you have the option on Holland America or Princess to take a cruise or a cruisetour. The cruises of course cover the coastal towns like Sitka, Ketchakan, Skagway and others. With a cruisetour, you can take a tour into the interior of Alaska visiting Fairbanks, Denali and Anchorage adding it to the beginning or the end of your cruise.
Starting this summer, Holland and Princess will offer Escorted Tours, Explorer Tours, Denali Rail Tours and Hotel Only with Sightseeing packages. Whether you are wanting to see glaciers or a chance to spot the wildlife big five, they have something to offer.
Princess will use their Westmark properties like the Princess Wilderness Lodge at Kenai and Holland America will use their Lodges like the Denali Wilderness Lodge for accommodations.

If Alaska is on your bucket list and you want to go in 2021, these are some great options. As I said earlier, Princess and Holland America are the experts when it comes to Alaska.
The Alaska cruise season is in limbo but there is some hope. Members of Congress and Alaska are petitioning the Canadian Government to allow ships to dock in Canada to simply cover the rule that requires the stop in a foreign port. If they allow this, cruises could sail from Seattle over the summer. We will all be crossing our fingers.
But if you are looking at 2022 as the year you cross Alaska off your bucket list, then its time. The 2022 sailings are open and ready to book with great rates. Both Holland America and Princess are offering great specials. So, contact me at the info below for more information.
