Almost every cruise line has an incentive offer while you are on board to book your next cruise with them either while on board or soon after leaving the ship. They range from on board credits to reduced deposits. Well, this week, NCL took it a step further by  taking their offer off the ship with CruiseFirst.

CruiseFirst allows you to purchase a certificate worth $300 for only $150 for use towards a deposit  on a new reservation. For example, you make a reservation on a 7 Night cruise on the Norwegian Encore, the deposit is $500, apply the certificate and pay only $200 to make up the difference. 

As with anything there are restrictions and here are just a few, at least the really important ones.

• Certificates are non-refundable but transferable to another person with no fee.
• Certificate must be used on a sailing departing no more than 120 days from date of purchase.
• Certificates are good on 6 Night or longer cruises.
• Only one certificate can be used per reservation.
• Other restrictions may apply.
