New Rules for International Travelers

Today, January 26, 2021, a new rule goes into affect for those arriving into the US from an international destination. The CDC is now requiring a negative COVID 19 test results prior to boarding your flight to the US. 

Need to know

• Negative Test must be taken no longer than 72 hours prior to departure.
• You must show proof either paper or electronic
• Without the negative test results, you will be denied boarding. 
• This applies to those arriving from other countries as non US citizens and US citizens returning home. 
• If you have a positive test result, you will need to quarantine in that country for 14 days. 

There are resorts in destinations like Mexico and Jamaica who have either set up onsite testing or partnered with a provider. If you do plan on traveling abroad, we need to make sure there are testing options available in your destination.
