![]() Norwegian Cruise Line has released more information about the new Norwegian Bliss debuting in Alaska in June 2018. NCL is taking some chances with high dollar features which I believe may or may not go over big. Primarily because they’re billing this ship as being made for Alaska. Not sure how much time will be spent on the go cart track when traveling through some of the most beautiful scenery in the world. Don’t get me wrong, for the Caribbean, this will be an outstanding ship. So, what will Bliss have to offer? Go Cart Track Yes, I said go cart track. The Joy has a much smaller one but she primarily sails the Asian market. This track will be 2 levels and 1000 feet long. The first of its kind in the North American market. The Haven The Haven is a key card access area on many NCL ships but this one will be larger. It will also feature a 180-degree 2 story lounge. Outdoor Laser Tag Also located on the top deck, a laser tag course will have a space station theme. Play will be available night and day. Waterslide Thrill Ride Part of the waterpark will be a double slide that will extend over the edge of the ship. You will get the feeling of flying off the ship as you zip down the slide. These are just of a few of the innovations coming to the Norwegian Bliss in 2018. She will home port in Seattle for the Alaska sailings and Miami for the Caribbean sailings. I have a passion for travel and believe travel is about experiences. Experiences create memories and are the stories we tell to friends and family - even with a little fudging on the facts.
