Princess Cruise Line has a pricing structure different from most cruise lines. They allow you to choose your experience where you can purchase the perks ahead of time at a reduced rate.. In recent years they introduced, Princess Standard, Princess Plus and Princess Premier with varying perks with each pricing category.
This week they made some changes worth noting. Up until now the OceanNow Delivery was free but for Princess Standard will now be $14.99 per person for the entire cruise. In addition, restaurants like Alfredos and Gigis were included but now have a charge. You can move up to the Princess Plus to get these items included now. Below I have broken down the different packages.
Princess Standard
The Princess Standard Package comes with the complimentary dining like the main dining room, International Cafe, Lido Buffet plus the grab a go places on deck like pizza and burgers. You can take advantage of things like OceanNow Delivery by paying a one time fee of $14.99 per guest and this gets you delivery of items ordered through the OceanNow App. Room Service is a $5 charge per delivery. Of course eating in the Casual Restaurants like the Salty Dog or Alfredos will come with a nominal charge. Previously there was no charge for Alfredos and using the Ocean Now Delivery.
Princess Plus
The Princess Plus package is where the perks come in. This allows you to pay for the things you were going to get anyway just as part of your fare and at a lower price. Price $60 Per Day Per Guest Includes
Princess Premier
If you want more, the Princess Premier Package gives it to you. Price: $80 Per Day Per Guest The Princess Premier includes all that comes with Plus with some additions.
A couple of notes to know. This will go into effect in August and those already booked on the Plus or Premier Package will enjoy the new perks. For those booked at the standard rate, you will inclur the new charges at Alfredos, for the OceanNow Delivery and Room Service but breakfast ordered on the door card will continue to be complimentary for everyone.

I have a passion for travel and believe travel is about experiences. Experiences create memories and are the stories we tell to friends and family - even with a little fudging on the facts.
