Royal and NCL Cancel More Cruses

As expected this week, today we heard about a longer suspension of global operations for cruises taking us into 2021. Today we heard from NCL, Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise Lines. Check out the information below for details. 

• Royal Caribbean cancelled all sailings through February 28, 2021 with the exception of Singapore sailings on Spectrum of the Seas 1/24/21 - 2/28/2
• All Australia / New Zealand Sailings through April 2021 have also been cancelled. 
• Celebrity Cruise Lines has cancelled all cruises through February 28, 2021
• ​Plus all Winter 2020/2021 South America Sailings are cancelled. 
  

Both Royal and Celebrity impacted passengers have the choice of a 100% Refund or a Future Cruise Credit valued at 125% of the amount paid. 

Norwegian Cruise Line has a little more detail to their cancellations

• All sailings are cancelled through February 28, 2021
• Sailings on Bliss, Breakaway, Gem, Epic, Jade, Jewel, Pearl, Pride of America and Sun are cancelled through March 31, 2021
• March Sailings on Encore, Escape and Joy remain intact.
• March sailings on Dawn, Spirit and Star were previously cancelled. 

Similar to the last suspension from NCL, they are simply giving full refunds rather than offering the Future Cruise Credit. Not sure why the change because previous suspensions gave the option. 

Both Disney and Carnival had cancelled through January 31, 2021 Princess and Holland America had cancelled sailings through March 31, 2021.

Although it seems like we are never going to be cruising again, I think this will be the last of the cancellations and last suspension of operations. They have given themselves a large cushion to meet the CDC requirements. I don't know about you but I am ready to get on board.
