Sting Ray City- Grand Cayman

​At Sting Ray City, you get the chance to swim with, pet and even feed these beautiful creatures. Sting Ray City in Grand Cayman is in the north sound on a string of sandbars. Its here decades ago fisherman would come to clean their fish after an excursion. Now, the rays know the sound of the boat motors and relate it to food.
Tours are available from your shore excursion desk on your cruise or at the tour desk at your resort. But I will tell you this is one of the most popular tours in Grand Cayman so I highly recommend booking it ahead of time.
Quick Facts

• The water is about chest high on adults so you can swim but it’s not necessary.
• Most tours are kid friendly. They supply life jackets in all sizes
• Some tours may provide snorkel equipment but I would bring my own
• Tours can range from $50.00 to over $100 per person depending the length of the tour and how many passengers are on board. Private tours are offered although pricey, can be fun because of less crowds
