Updates from Royal Caribbean, Celebrity, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises

Yesterday Royal Caribbean, Holland America Line and Princess Cruises all made announcements extending their pause in global operations. 

Royal Caribbean
Royal Caribbean extended their pause in global operations through May 31, 2021. This includes cancellation of all US Based departures through May 31, 2021

• Also includes Spectrum of the Seas China Sailings 4/3-4/23
• Alaska Sailings on Quantum of the Seas 4/25 - 10/15
• Currently Alaska sailings on Ovation of the Seas, Serenade of the Seas and Radiance of the Seas beyond May 31 are still on. 

Celebrity Cruises
Celebrity  cancelled all cruises through May 31, 2021.
In addition

• Europe Sailings on Edge, Constellation and Reflection
• No word on Alaska as of yet. 

Royal Caribbean and Celebrity Cruise with Confidence
On February 1, Royal Caribbean Group extended their Cruise with Confidence Program. This allows you to make a booking through May 31, 2021 for a sailing through April 30, 2022 and cancel up to 48 hours prior to sailing and get a 100% Future Cruise Credit. this will allow people to make plans without the fear of the cancel penalty. 

Princess Cruises
Princess has extended their pause in operations for the Caribbean, California Coast, Mexico and the Meditiranian through June 30, 2021
The pause in operation affects the following voyages:

• Caribbean Princess: Seven-day Western and Eastern Caribbean cruises 
• Enchanted Princess: Seven-day Mediterranean & Adriatic, seven-day Western Mediterranean, and 14-day Western Mediterranean & Adriatic Medley
• Ruby Princess: Seven-day Classic California Coast, seven-day Mexican Riviera, and five-day Cabo San Lucas Getaway sailings

Holland America Line
Holland announced their pause in operations for sailings in Europe through June 30, 2021.

None of this is unexpected as these cruise lines fall in with others like Carnival and NCL.
